Team: One team per country, up to 6 students

Competition Structure

The Olympiad consists of three distinct tests. This section explains the format and content of each test, helping you understand what to expect and how to prepare.

Written Response Test (WRT)

This test assesses foundational and theoretical knowledge of Islamic Economics and Fiqh Muamalat. It is divided into two sections:

  • Part A: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

    Covers a wide range of topics in Islamic economics, finance, economic history, and the principles of Fiqh al-Muamalat.

  • Part B: Open Questions (OQ)

    Requires detailed, analytical answers, challenging students to apply theoretical concepts to specific scenarios.
